Bottled Water Awareness Video
Fresh healthy water requires more than simple filtration.
How much water
should we drink?
A healthy person
should drink at
least half their
body weight in
ounces per day
of alkaline water.
However; there's a very big difference between alkaline water and ionized alkaline water, which is actually alkalized water.
When you make your own fresh antioxidant alkaline water with an alkaline water ionizer, you're reducing your carbon footprint on the environment and saving money.
TIP: Use BPA free water bottles for your alkaline water.
has zero calories
and zero fat.
This healthy water is very popular with pro-sports athletes, celebrities, chefs, health professionals and millions of people worldwide.
What we call aging, is actually the slow & gradual oxidation of our body.
Antioxidants reduce cellular oxidation.
You can not buy healthy water in a plastic bottle. Not even if the label states that it's alkaline water, has a high pH or claims it has antioxidants.
Factoid: Hydrogen is one of the most abundant elements in the cosmos and so is water, which contains hydrogen and oxygen (H2O). Water is what our bodies are mostly composed of.
FYI: Did you know that as antioxidant vitamins give up their electrons they can then become free radicals?
The antioxidants in properly ionized alkaline water are simply electron donors that are easily absorbed within seconds of drinking the water.
FYI: BPA is an endocrine disruptor that mimics the hormone estrogen. Styrene, also widely used, is classified as an anticipated carcinogen by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and also by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Tap water is strictly regulated by the U.S. Government's Environmental Protection Agency. The CDC states: "The Safe Drinking Water Act does not apply to bottled water. Bottled water is not regulated by the EPA, but by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)." Bottled water is also not tested as often as your tap water.
Caution: Only drink from a top quality water ionizer that's certified to the following stardards: iso 13485 certified, iso 9001 certified, iso 14001 certified & NSF certified.
Acidic liquids can dehydrate the body and lead to illness.
FYI: Fat cells buffer over-acidity in the body. Reducing acidity allows the body to naturally lose weight.
H2O water molecule
Factoid: Visualize the nucleus of a hydrogen atom as being the size of a small marble. The distance between the nucleus of a hydrogen atom and its electron can be equivalent to over 1,000 miles of empty space.
We are composed of atoms too, as is everything around us. At the quantum level, our bodies are mostly empty space as well and so is the universe that we all live in.
Since our bodies are mostly water, then the quality of the water we drink can have a very large effect on our health. Have you ever thought about the type of water that you're putting into your body? Do you know if it's alkaline water, acidic water, filtered water or if your drinking water contains chlorine, lead, sediment, crustaceans and unhealthy free radicals?
Did you know that bottled water can be acidic and both tap water and bottled water may contain free radicals that can damage our cells, increase aging and illness? Did you also know that our blood must maintain a certain pH value? It can not be acidic, it must be slightly alkaline for us to survive. Next to the air we breathe, water is the second most important element that we put into our body. Take a closer look at the water that you're drinking and giving to your family, friends and pets.

There is a solution. Studies show that drinking fresh ionized alkaline water can offer tremendous benefits by helping to eliminate acid wastes from the body, thus restoring the natural acid-alkaline balance. This special type of healthy water is produced from an appliance called a water ionizer, which transforms regular tap water into clean filtered ionized alkaline water for drinking and cooking. The small appliance removes acidity from the water and creates a smooth and delicious tasting alkaline water that's easy to drink and doesn't bloat you like other types of water do. Alkaline water ionizers have been available as home kitchen appliances since the 1970s. In addition to the benefits of drinking ionized alkaline water, a high quality alkaline water ionizer appliance provides a less expensive, healthier and eco-friendly green alternative to bottled water.
THE TECHNOLOGY OF IONIZED WATER
A properly designed and ISO Certified alkaline water ionizer appliance will filter and convert standard tap water into fresh ionized alkaline drinking water. In addition to removing acidity from your water, it can also remove chlorine, lead, sediment, crustaceans and free radicals in the water and create an abundance of powerful antioxidants. It's common knowledge that antioxidants help the body fight free radical damage and oxidative stress. A certified alkaline water ionizer also allows necessary minerals in the source water to become available for utilization by the body. Minerals in your body that have an electric charge are called electrolytes.
This special type of alkaline water ionizer appliance has adjustable pH levels for drinking and cooking. Fresh alkaline water from a top quality alkaline water ionizer contains no additives, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors or sugars. The highest quality alkaline water ionizers can also create safe disinfectant water, cleaning water and natural astringent water for hair and skin care at the touch of a button. A typical alkaline water ionizer easily connects to a sink faucet or installs under the sink. Other types of water such as bottled water, tap water, distilled water, sparkling water and reverse osmosis water contain free radicals that can oxidize the cells in our body (see Free Radicals & Antioxidants below).

A free radical is an atom or molecule with missing (unpaired) electrons. This atom needs to stabilize itself by stealing electrons from another atom, which in turn steals electrons from another atom and so on. As these free radicals seek out electrons, they leave a path of destruction in their wake.
The cascading effect of this destructive process results in free radical propagation throughout the body causing oxidation to the cells. We've all noticed that when fruit is left out too long it turns brown and gets rotten. That's because it oxidizes from the air. When a nail sits in water it rusts due to oxidation. Our cells are exposed to the same air when we breathe and our body is mostly water; therefore, similar oxidation also occurs throughout our entire body every day.
Cell phone radiation, microwaves and x-rays create additional free radical damage in our body tissues. This continuous assault results in cellular destruction, which causes rapid aging and disease. Oxidation is a process that causes atoms to lose their electrons (free radicals). Reduction is a process by which atoms gain electrons (antioxidants). That's why ionized alkaline antioxidant water is technically referred to as "electrolyzed reduced water" (ERW) by the scientific community. Research shows that the natural antioxidants generated by a high quality alkaline water ionizer can help the body quench free radical damage. This antioxidant protection is attributed to the powerful anti-oxidation properties of molecular hydrogen (H2), which is created during the ionization process of water (H2O). The natural antioxidants contained in this special type of diatomic hydrogen-rich alkaline restructured water are known as free radical scavengers.
To counteract the constant assault caused by oxidation, we need antioxidants to fight the free radicals in our body. Antioxidants reduce oxidation and help prevent premature aging of the cells. In effect, they slow down the aging process (anti-aging). Our bodies produce an important antioxidant called "glutathione" but not in enough quantity to counteract all the oxidative stress and pollution that we're exposed to on a daily basis. Antioxidants can be derived from a number of food sources and supplements; however, as we age we absorb less nutrients through digestion. Since the human body is over 60% water and water is the transport system and solvent for all biological functions in our body, the quickest and most efficient way to directly absorb and utilize antioxidants is by drinking ionized alkaline water that has a strong negative oxidation reduction potential (negative ORP). The more negative the value, the greater the antioxidant protection. Tap water, bottled water, sports drinks and reverse osmosis systems all have positive ORP values that oxidize our body. Some of these liquids are above +580mV (free radicals). Properly ionized water can have a healthy negative ORP of -250mV to over -600 mV (antioxidants). It's important to properly hydrate the body with the right kind of water.
The quality of the water we drink makes a significant difference to our health. Some people have the attitude that "water is water" so it doesn't matter what they put into their body; however, not all water is the same and not all water is healthy to drink. If you drink bottled water, consider the fact that plastic water bottles are made from oil that contains petrochemicals and harmful substances such as Phthalates, Bisphenol A (BPA), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Antimony and other chemical toxins that leach from the plastic into the bottled water. For example, plastic bottles that are labeled #1 (stamped on the bottom of the plastic bottle) contain Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE). The longer the water remains in contact with the plastic bottle, the more exposure it gets to the chemicals in the plastic.
Also, the more acidic the bottled water is, the more these toxins will leach into the bottled water. Many of the top brand bottled waters are acidic, but they don't have to disclose that on the label. These toxins also rip apart the electrical bonds of the water molecules causing a further accumulation of free radicals in the water. By the time the water is stocked on the store shelf, it has already been sitting in the plastic bottle for a considerable amount of time, possibly months. It may have been transported long distances and exposed to heat and other elements, which increases the growth of bacteria and microorganisms in the water. Food & Water Watch in Washington, DC reported that fourteen brands of bottled water were recalled over E.coli bacteria
contamination concern. Researchers found that bottled water is not safer than tap water. Environmental Working Group studied 10 major brands of bottled water and discovered that each bottle of water contained around eight contaminants per brand.
The Natural Resources Defense Council states that bottled water is subject to less testing and purity standards than those required of tap water. According to the NRDC, bottled water is tested less frequently than tap water for chemical contaminants and bacteria. Bottled water rules allow for some contamination by E. coli and fecal coliform while tap water regulations prohibit any contamination with these bacteria.
Humans can only survive a few days without clean water. By using a water filtration and ionization system manufactured with the best medically certified high quality components and proven technology, we can reduce the risk to our health from the impurities and organisms in our drinking water.
According to government statistics, plastic water bottles produced for the U.S. use 1.5 million barrels of oil a year - enough to power 250,000 homes or 100,000 cars all year. It takes more than three quarts of water to produce a one quart plastic bottle.
Aside from expensive artesian water, some of the bottled water sold in stores and on supermarket shelves is simply regular tap water. Many bottled water companies are licensed to draw and bottle water from municipal locations.
The bottled water that you buy could be tap water bottled from someone else's hometown water supply. Some popular bottled water brands that we've tested, including a well-known water filter pitcher, have an acidic pH value of 5.5 and lower. Soft drinks, sports drinks and fruit drinks can have a pH of less than 3.0, which is extremely acidic (over 10,000 times more acidic than normal blood pH). Think outside the bottle. Ask us about a healthier alternative.
Bottled water is expensive, not environmentally friendly and the plastic bottles can be harmful to our health. Each year, billions of plastic water bottles are not recycled and end up as litter or landfill. Some plastics may not decompose or take thousands of years to do so. In addition, since we don't use bottled water for cooking, our tap water should be as clean and healthy as possible. A common misconception is that "water is just water." If that were true, we wouldn't need water treatment plants, all water on the planet would be safe to drink and the bottled water industry wouldn't exist.
